Not bad

It's pretty good. You just need some pumping bass playing and thumping drumming to make this tune huge.
My only advice would be to multitrack as you can tell you're playing whilst singing. That way you can do the guitar to a click and it wouldn't be out of time in places.
Your singing is good. Sounds kinda like Brandon Boyd's style. I think he's a cunt, but I won't hold that against you.

Hexol94 responds:

Lol thats fucking great i was laughing my ass off at the Brandon comment but at the same time I'm flattered, thanks finally someone took the time to give my stuff a listen. I'm planning on releasing as much stuff before i go to army. Again many thanks made my day!

Hmmm..

I love alliteration.

Step responds:

Yeah :D.

Thanks for the 10!

Balls-out rock

The riff at 1:21 is fucking awesome. Kinda sounds a bit Silverchair-ish.
A nasty glitch at 1:33 when it loops that same section again...?
Then it gets incredibley sexy at 2:23 with the doubled-up guitar melody. This should have continue for longer, IMO.
Then another nasty glitch at 2:35!? Sounds like in places you didn't quite glue the sections together right? Or is it only happening to me?
I also can't stand it when a song fades out. It's a bit of a cop out. A tune of this calibre should have a better ending.

Sheodon responds:

Thanks for your comment. Yeah I agree you that in some points (where you mentioned them) the chopping sounds a bit weird or out-placed. Maybe I should fix it somehow.

About the fading out, maybe you don't like it, but maybe others like it. That's just a cup of tea.

Soothing!

I hate what you mentioned below when you can't find anything to fit without it clashing sonically with what you already have laid down. despite the track needing more. It's all an EQing thing but sometimes it just won't work.
Anyway, I like this piece. Particularly how it evolves and swirls. I also like the occassional subsonic movements in the piece. To me it has a real under water, otherworldy vibe to it.

treyhaur responds:

While I still do wish I could have added another element to this track, it does have a characteristic I find interesting. If you download and look at the waveform, you'll notice a peculiar pattern. I did not purposely line the parts up the way they fell (this track was essentially recorded live) but, I found it quite entertaining :)

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the review!

I liked it.

Started off really well. Kinda lost it in places but you mentioned that and generally it was quite an interesting piece. I take it that it was mostly off the cuff?
Anyway, I'ma gonna go check out your other stuff. Gave you a 5 by the way purely because you clearly know what you're doing with that guitar and I respect that.

LetoVox responds:

Hey thanks for the review. Yeah it most of it was just improv but based around a general structure that I had played around with for a while. I thought this was the best of versions I had played so I posted it haha. Also, thanks for checking out the rest of my stuff! most of it's electronic stuff though...

Kick ass.

Nice grimey, industrial feel to this. Really enjoyed it. Particularly the wobbling, rolling bass synth.
I think the point at 00:29 could be tidied up more with a bit more impact to it. Kinda sounds out of time.

ProudAardvark responds:

Thanks man! Good ear, I put in a measure of 5/4 right there to give a little breath.

The Latin Western.

I envisage a Western scene with a Latin twist. Tanned, hairy latinos shading their thick, hairy upperlips under large sombreros, riding on big, black stallions along dusty trails. I hope I didn't just describe your dad!
Happy Birthday, Dad.

Step responds:

I lol'd :P.

Thanks for the review! I didn't have a particular scene in mind for this track, even though I usually do when I'm making music. Dancing Flame just came to me since I didn't want to name this 'Salsa thing', which is what it was initially named.

Thanks again, glad you liked the song! By the way, I heard some of your submissions, they sound really good!

Lovely piece.

punk7890 responds:

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed. :)

I agree with the other guys.

I didn't necessarily enjoy the music [genre-wise] but your composition is good and things seem to be happening where they should! Twistedtechnology gives good, solid advice!
Keep it coming.

thebigtarget1 responds:

Thank you. Ill work on the sound level son Techno Realms Revolution. Yes it is a hilariously named series. :)

Nice

I like the chords and all, as well as the beat, but at the moment that's all this is; Those chords.

You could definitely make this into a tune. I personally see this as the verse section so maybe come up with an impactive chorus section and expand upon this song. Don't stop here!
4/5

Stoerphunk responds:

Thanks for the review.

Well, i don't know if i will expand it...it was really just a quick idea.
