Hmmm..

I love alliteration.

Step responds:

Yeah :D.

Thanks for the 10!

Shhhhhh.

Don't speak, just listen.

Balls-out rock

The riff at 1:21 is fucking awesome. Kinda sounds a bit Silverchair-ish.
A nasty glitch at 1:33 when it loops that same section again...?
Then it gets incredibley sexy at 2:23 with the doubled-up guitar melody. This should have continue for longer, IMO.
Then another nasty glitch at 2:35!? Sounds like in places you didn't quite glue the sections together right? Or is it only happening to me?
I also can't stand it when a song fades out. It's a bit of a cop out. A tune of this calibre should have a better ending.

Sheodon responds:

Thanks for your comment. Yeah I agree you that in some points (where you mentioned them) the chopping sounds a bit weird or out-placed. Maybe I should fix it somehow.

About the fading out, maybe you don't like it, but maybe others like it. That's just a cup of tea.

Soothing!

I hate what you mentioned below when you can't find anything to fit without it clashing sonically with what you already have laid down. despite the track needing more. It's all an EQing thing but sometimes it just won't work.
Anyway, I like this piece. Particularly how it evolves and swirls. I also like the occassional subsonic movements in the piece. To me it has a real under water, otherworldy vibe to it.

While I still do wish I could have added another element to this track, it does have a characteristic I find interesting. If you download and look at the waveform, you'll notice a peculiar pattern. I did not purposely line the parts up the way they fell (this track was essentially recorded live) but, I found it quite entertaining :)

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the review!

Ambient piano Downtempo!? YES PLEASE.

Cool, man. This is really nice. I like how the piano melody remains while various counter melodies come and go. The outro section is pretty good too though could be shorter I guess, like a breakdown, before leading back into the main catch again?

Daymn!

It's like straight out of a Quentin Tarantino flick.

Cool

I'm curious why this doesn't have more positive comments. It's really nice. The only thing missing is the rest of the song as this would make a cool intro to an epic song! I also wouldn't mind using this in a tune, if you wouldn't mind.

I liked it.

Started off really well. Kinda lost it in places but you mentioned that and generally it was quite an interesting piece. I take it that it was mostly off the cuff?
Anyway, I'ma gonna go check out your other stuff. Gave you a 5 by the way purely because you clearly know what you're doing with that guitar and I respect that.

LetoVox responds:

Hey thanks for the review. Yeah it most of it was just improv but based around a general structure that I had played around with for a while. I thought this was the best of versions I had played so I posted it haha. Also, thanks for checking out the rest of my stuff! most of it's electronic stuff though...

Kick ass.

Nice grimey, industrial feel to this. Really enjoyed it. Particularly the wobbling, rolling bass synth.
I think the point at 00:29 could be tidied up more with a bit more impact to it. Kinda sounds out of time.

ProudAardvark responds:

Thanks man! Good ear, I put in a measure of 5/4 right there to give a little breath.

Cool, I love piano.

I gave you a 10 as a two fingers up to the cunt who keeps unfairly dishing out 0's to your submissions. Because, it's soothing, calming, atmospheric and pleasing to the ears. Just love Piano and ambience. This tune delivers! Check out a couple of my latest submissions, they're not too different. 5/5.
